The 2 track EP by Hartta, released digitally in 2018 (KAB010), is now available in a limited edition 10" dubplate for those wanting to have these tunes in physical format.
The A side ‘Hylidae Dub’ is a bouncy and flute-filled cut which takes its name from the Hylidae family of frogs (commonly known as ‘tree frogs’). It jumps up and down a wave of solid bassweight, while the mysterious atmospheres induce darker prospects.
The flip side ‘Tribe’ is a moodier production, with a title which refers to the sample that plays under the whole track. It unwinds chaoticly through the use of loose bassline automation and intriguing organics.
Mastered & cut at Bristol's DubStudio, comes in a hand-stamped and numbered white sleeve. Purchase includes digital files (WAV).
