Kaarbanik Sound proudly welcomes the emerging London duo Traces to the family for their debut release (and marking the second number on the dubplate series). On the A side, 'Scorched' is a clear statement of the duo’s style, and has received love from plenty of DJ's in the scene for the past year. Wobbly and rugged, with a combination of old school influences and a grimey edge, it's a tune to mash up the dance. On the flip side we find 'Illuminate', a previously unlisted dub of theirs which showcases a big variation in style and intensity. From high-flying flutes alongside a tough bassline to a seriously low and hefty second drop. This plate by Traces is not one to be missed... A strong debut by a duo to watch in 2019.

Mastered & cut at Bristol's DubStudio, comes in a hand-stamped and numbered white sleeve. Purchase includes digital files (WAV), which won't be released independently until later in 2019.
